Pro Kids Scholarships

The culmination of our work is the Pro Kids Scholarship Program. With more than $2.8 million in awards to over 250 scholars to date, it reflects our founding vision: “Golf is the hook; education is the payoff.” Most of our scholars are the first in their families to pursue higher education and have limited support at home. We bridge the gap in two ways: through adult mentors, who provide guidance to our aspiring students, and through academic scholarships. Students complete a rigorous application for this selective program. By offering renewable awards to scholars attending community colleges, vocational schools, four-year universities, and graduate schools, we extend Pro Kids’ reach, supporting our participants through college and beyond.

In order to apply for a Pro Kids Scholarship, applicants must be an active and registered Pro Kids participant. Details of the application, requirements and deadlines will be posted online when the application opens.

College & Career Prep

We offer our high school participants comprehensive college and career prep programs, including homework support, tutoring, SAT prep classes, college visits, vocational exploration field trips, and personal development workshops. Eligible students are also invited on our annual road trip to explore colleges outside of the region. We also offer a variety of future planning programs with community partners.

Scholar Spotlight

Calista Reyes is a rising senior at Stanford University where she plays for the women’s golf team. Calista is currently undertaking her core classes for her major in Engineering – Product Design and Economics. After countless sleepless nights, Calista can proudly say that she has straight A’s and an incredible golf resume. When Calista is not studying or dominating on the golf course, Calista enjoys volunteering at Pro Kids, particularly during our annual summer camps. Calista is shining brightly, and we wish her best of luck as she gears up for her senior year!
