 Pro Kids Oceanside History

In 2012, Pro Kids started construction on its second facility in Oceanside. Callaway Golf committed $2 million to help build the 4,400 square foot Ely Callaway Golf & Learning Center, which opened on August 29, 2012. The building was designed by architect Bill Hayer, a former Pro Kids’ Board member. It includes three classrooms, a computer room, library, and golf simulator.

TaylorMade, another major force in the golf world, helped Pro Kids expand to North County by committing $1 million for the facility’s golf course. The Honors Course opened in March 2013. It is a six-hole, par-3 course with double tee boxes. The course, which was honored by the American Society of Golf Course Architects, was designed by Gary Bye of Rainville & Bye.

The Oceanside facility is open to Pro Kids’ members. The space including an outdoor patio and six-hole course is also available for special events and other public meetings. Please call the number below if you are interested in hosting an event at this site.
