Each month at Pro Kids | The First Tee of San Diego, we like to spotlight one young member from each of our two facilities in City Heights and Oceanside due to their exceptional performance and dedication to our programs. We’re proud to present our “Members of the Month” for May 2018 — congratulations!
City Heights: JACOB
Our Pro Kids Member of the Month is Jacob! Jacob has been attending Pro Kids since April 2017 and has already worked his way up to level 3. He practices with his father a couple days a week and you can see the improvements in his game by the hard work he puts in. Jacob is always attentive in golf class, eager to learn, and gets along with all the members in our program. He is outgoing and has a positive attitude on and off the course. Keep up the great work, Jacob!
Oceanside: Joel
The month of May is known for its beauty, it signifies that spring is gradually blooming into summer.
The member of month is Joel. He is constantly growing and inspiring others. Joel is a 4
th grader at Reynolds Elementary and he is a great friend to many. He comes in with a smile every day, and is very proud to be a member of the Academy. His enthusiasm for Pro Kids is contiguous and much appreciated. Joel shows initiative within the Elementary group and is committed to doing his best in school by earning good grades. Joel’s favorite subject is math; he shows that he has
confidence in his abilities by helping other members with their homework.
Joel consistently displays
integrity during free time with his peers. Every Wednesday he participates in a chess match. He is very good at making sure everyone understands and plays by the rules. It is hard to believe that Joel has only been with the Academy for such a short time. He settled into the routine of the elementary team and has thrived within the structure Ms. Twannia provides. He exceeded expectations by being the Journal Challenge winner two months in a row. Way to go Joel! Keep up the hard work by showing
sportsmanship and responsibility in all that you do.
